Tuning & Servicing
Pianos generally need to be tuned after humidity changes which occur mostly during winter and summer. Average pianos require a one to two tunings per year be kept in good tune. Regular servicing also helps maintain the overall health of your piano: see Mouse Damage page

* Note that the piano tuner needs to work with the piano in a quiet atmosphere to do their job properly. Howling dogs, whistling, dishwashers, violins and the sort can be very distracting. It is best that you schedule your appointment for a time when the piano room can be left alone to the tuner free from distractions.

We are trained in all levels of piano technology and are qualified for any servicing from a simple tuning or a concert level regulation and voicing. Both Colin and Deborah have extensive experience in action rebuilding and all types of repairs. We also provide Pre-purchase Evaluations, Key Recovery, Dammp-Chaser installation, Sales, and more. Colin also provides polyester repair.

Our reputation and ethical standards are of utmost importance to us. Thus we do not suggest that work be done on an instrument unless it is necessary and will proportionately increase its value.
