You may submit your ad for a piano for sale and we will post it free of charge.
Please note: As we are providing this free service in hosting your ad we kindly ask that you post a word ad in your local paper and the Interior Buy and Sell, making sure to mention the piano can be viewed at www.interiorpianoservice.com. This gives your ad here even more exposure will greatly increase the chances of your piano selling and

We also ask that you kindly alert us when your piano has sold. Ads will automatically be deleted after 3 months if we do not hear from you. Any changes to your ad, such as the wording, price or contact info can be sent on to us (making sure you mention your name and phone number for reference). We reserve the right to refuse any ad we do not want posted to our site.

Your ad must be written using the following format (though we're open to people expressing their creativity and humour):

Contact info (phone and/or email and best times to call)
Photo
Links to the manufacturer's website are also a good idea, especially the exact page for your model. The more information you include, the more likely a buyer will be interested. Please note only ads written in or close to the format suggested will be accepted.
Photos
Also include at least one good quality jpeg image of the piano, making sure to note if it is a stock photo. We can post one or two thumbnail photos and link to up to 3 others.
Things to remember when you photograph your piano: Think of your online listing as if it were a piano in a classy showroom. A showroom has good lighting, nice backround and no clutter. In order to make the photo reflect the best in your instrument make sure to dust and clean your piano, remove any items from the sides of top of the piano and use adequate lighting.
Suggestions for Pricing & Selling
The best way to have your piano priced for a sale is to ask your tuner what is a good asking and sale price. McCann Piano Service is experienced in accurately pricing pianos: please contact us.
You may find the website Blue Book of Pianos helpful in pricing, though not as effective as an in-person assessment by an expert. Also consider what you paid for the instrument, the condition, and what similar pianos are posted and selling for. Remeber a piano priced too high will take far longer to or may not sell.
It is a good idea to have the piano tuned so it "shows" well to prospective buyers. We are happy to assist you put your piano into the saleable condition. Again, please contact us.
